The General Motors (GM) Lansing Delta Township (LDT) manufacturing plant produces the Buick Enclave and Chevrolet Traverse, and is a Gold Certified Leader in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
Aristeo managed numerous projects at LDT, including a 2-bay assembly building addition, a 5-bay body shop addition, 179,000 combined square feet of body shop additions, a 30,000 square foot general assembly addition, tooling and equipment installation, line upgrades and modifying the glass cell. Across our years at this facility, our work has been completed with superior safety and quality standards all without interrupting ongoing plant operations.
Aristeo managed the construction of two body shop expansions (66,000 square feet and 113,000 square feet) and a general assembly expansion of 30,000 square feet. The project also included new mechanical systems to support utility requirements of the building additions. We also installed a new cooling tower and centrifugal chiller, including all associated piping and controls. The body shop expansion also included installation of a new 1234yf refrigerant tank with associated trestle steel and utilities.
Aristeo optimized project construction through documentation and contractor efficiency, and as with nearly all of our manufacturing facility construction projects, Building Information Modeling (BIM) was used as a tool throughout the program.
